Originally I was a little hesitant about purchasing the book thinking that it would be too scientific and difficult to understand. I was wrong, although the book contains many scientific/medical terms, it has to in order to explain the disease, Dr. Nedd does an outstanding job of explaining what they are.
In fact, the book is so well written that the book is very easy to understand and does not read like a school textbook, but rather like any well written non-fictional book.
I greatly appreciate Dr. Nedd's book because it gives me a greater understanding of the silent epidemic of concussions and TBIs. By reading the book I have gained a much better understating of this silent epidemic that inflicts 3,8 million persons per year.
