I really wish this book was around eight years ago when my brother suffered a traumatic brain injury. This book would have helped my family and I as it does a phenomenal job at simplifying challenging medical concepts which we struggled with at the time
During this time, my family and I felt lost and unable to comprehend the complexity of my brother’s condition. To a degree, I feel that I have found closure within the pages of this book and I am eternally grateful for that.

I decided to write this review because I know that this book will help many families as traumatic brain injury is becoming more common in the United States every year. Since traumatic brain injury is a journey for all those involved, I strongly feel that this book will act as a guide through this journey while also giving the reader a better understanding of what their loved one is going through.”
